As an Active Repeater Panel, the FAP-2001 communicates over the Veiga RS-485 network, with the FAP-3002 network card required, and supports up to 32 nodes, with a network distance of up to 1.2 km per node. This makes it suitable for both individual buildings and large campus-wide fire alarm networks involving multiple fire alarm control panels.
Designed for reliable operation in demanding environments, the FAP-2001 is housed in a mild steel IP30 enclosure and features a soft-touch keypad and large backlit graphical LCD for clear system status and event monitoring.
