How to Cook a Signature Chicken Curry

  1. Prep: Clean and cut 500 g–1 kg of chicken into bite-sized pieces.

  2. Sauté: Heat oil or ghee; sauté sliced onions, ginger, and garlic until golden brown.

  3. Spice it up: Add 2–3 tablespoons of SpiCey Chicken Masala and stir briefly to release the aromas (be careful not to burn the spices).

  4. Simmer: Add the chicken pieces and coat them well in the masala. Pour in a little water or coconut milk and simmer on low heat until the chicken is tender and the gravy has thickened to your liking.

Serve steaming hot with basmati rice, roast paan, or string hoppers for the ultimate Sri Lankan meal.
